About the function
As a Soft Plastic Pipefitter at a renowned Dutch shipyard, you will have the unique opportunity to work on the construction and assembly of plastic piping systems on luxury yachts. You will work independently, using schematic drawings and isometric diagrams to accurately fabricate and assemble the piping systems.
An average day involves reading the schematics and planning your tasks. You ensure all pipes are cut to size, conduct quality checks, and report any malfunctions. You will work closely with colleagues while always adhering to safety guidelines.

What we need
- At least 5 years of experience as a pipefitter (soft plastic) in the yacht or shipbuilding industry
- Ability to work independently and read drawings
- Experience with tack welding (TIG)
- Possession of a valid VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one within 14 days of starting)
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or English
- Knowledge of ABS, Flowfit, and Mapress
- Possession of mandatory personal protective equipment such as helmet, safety shoes, and hearing protection
