Over de functie
As a soft Pipefitter at a leading Dutch shipyard, you'll be part of the team building the world's most luxurious superyachts. You'll be responsible for independently fabricating and assembling plastic pipework on board these luxury vessels. Working from overview drawings and isometrics, you will conduct precise measurements during and after your work. A typical day involves starting with reviewing drawings and isometrics, then moving on to fabricating and assembling plastic pipe sections. You'll ensure proper use of tools, conduct quality checks, and maintain a clean workspace. You'll strictly adhere to safety guidelines and report any malfunctions or deviations to your supervisor. Wat wij vragen
- At least 5 years of experience as a pipefitter (plastic/soft) in the yacht or shipbuilding industry.
- Ability to work independently and read drawings.
- Experience with tack welding (TIG).
- Possession of a valid VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one within 14 days of starting.
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
- Knowledge of ABS, Flowfit, Mapress.
- Possession of personal protective equipment.
