About the function
As an International Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and replacing piping systems aboard seafaring vessels. Your work takes place during scheduled dry-dock periods, both in the Netherlands and internationally. You are a crucial link in ensuring these projects run smoothly and contribute to the high standards our client upholds.
On an average day, you're involved in installing prefab and small piping systems, assembling fittings and components, and interpreting isometric drawings and technical schematics. You solve technical issues on-site and collaborate closely with colleagues from various countries. Your workweek is dynamic, requiring flexibility and a solution-oriented approach.

What we need
- Technical MBO education, preferably in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Possession of basic VCA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in English
- Customer-oriented and solution-focused work attitude
