About the function

As a Project Engineer System Integrator, you will have the unique opportunity to work on prestigious super-yacht projects in Amsterdam. You will design, integrate, and validate electrical systems such as power distribution and lighting for luxury vessels, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure optimal system compatibility. A typical day includes producing detailed cable lists and connection diagrams using E-plan, preparing technical documentation, and conducting Factory and Sea Acceptance Tests. With a keen eye for detail, you ensure all systems meet maritime standards and client requirements. Solving integration issues and managing data protocols are daily challenges you tackle head-on. What we need

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in system integration, preferably in shipbuilding or offshore.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including system architecture and control logic.
  • Advanced skills in EPLAN, AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and PLM Teamcenter.
  • In-depth understanding of marine DC and AC power systems and maritime electrical standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
