As a Lead Metalworker (Section Construction), you play a crucial role in realizing the impressive hulls and deckhouses for superyachts. You are responsible for coordinating and supervising section construction, working with your team to lay the foundation for luxury yachts admired worldwide. You’ll work with high-quality materials like steel and aluminum, ensuring quality and safety on the job. On a typical day, you’ll assign tasks, start the day with your team, and oversee capacity planning. You guide production activities at the yard or on location, monitor progress, perform quality checks, and motivate your colleagues. You’re also responsible for time registration, reporting deviations, and handling leave and sickness. Wat wij vragen
- At least MBO level 4 working and thinking level, preferably in Shipbuilding
- Completed technical, practical education
- At least 5 years of experience in the field
- At least 2 years of experience as (deputy) manager
- Valid VCA or VCA-Vol certificate
- Good command of Dutch and English
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Coaching and motivating attitude toward colleagues
